Today is Molly Birthday. I cant believe she is already 2 yrs old. She definitely believes she is 2 though. Here is a list of some of her many accomplishments this year:
- She is now in a toddler bed, this was not our decision but one night she figured out how to crawl over the crib and open her door to get out, Which made the crib useless.
- Her vocabulary grows bigger and bigger everyday. I am not really sure how many words she can say because she can pretty much repeat anything you say. Not so many sentences yet but she sure can understand you.
- She is such a great helper, she will pick stuff up for me, hand me my my phone, or the remote from across the room, throw away garbage. Climb into her car seat by herself. Climbs in and out of her booster seat by herself. I can tell she is going to be a great helper when the baby comes
- She is very phone savy! She can pick up my iphone go to the app she wants, play for a while, turn it off, give it back, and put it in the charger! As soon as the phone rings or beeps she always brings it straight to me (or tries if its not is a hight place). For some reason her favorite app is childrens primary song sing along she loves hearing the hymns.
- She has started potty training! A bunch of people have given us the opinion that we started her potty training too early. But we just tried at first to see if she was ready. It didnt seem to be a great success so we backed off. Ever since then she has totally loved potty training. And the truth is we could not get her to stop now even if we wanted to. Which is great!
- She is now a complete toddler. She loves doing everything by herself, and catches on so quickly. I am a little sad to loss my baby but her independent style will be so helpful with another baby in the house.
