adventures

We've had some adventures since our last post! Just like last year, we are trying to enjoy every second of summer vacation. When a second goes by that I don't think I've enjoyed to the fullest extent, I waste the next second being sad that I wasted the previous second. That being said, we are trying to avoid "down" time. May 30 was our anniversary so for the 29th (saturday) we went to salt lake to party it up leaving Molly with Sara's parents. We ate and were stuffed at rodizio grill (very delicious). The first thing we took from the walking buffet people was this fried turkey wrapped in bacon. We got all excited thinking that everything would be wrapped in bacon (after double checking that we were not in heaven). Alas, that was not the case. The other meat was delicious too but we were watching like a hawk for more bacon goodness. They give you this doohickey that you turn green side up when you want food and red up when you don't. We sat and watched the buffeters walk out of their cave forever and when it was something we wanted we would hurry and turn it to green hoping the sweet goodness would come before the stewed pineapple. The bacon goodness finally came when we were so full I could barely move but still took 2 bacony things. Again very delicious but I could barely stuff it down. After that we saw robin hood and got a new fishing pole for sara and a reel for me.

We had a little family get together with Keith and Frank and fam. Molly sat by her first fire and went into a trance watching it. If you look close you can see the fire in the glare of her eyes.

Today was a monumental day for Sara. We went fishing and she ended her 3 week drought of no fish. Then to top it off she got up her courage and even took the fish off the hook! Molly had a blast and was my good luck charm. I hooked one while I was holding her and then Sara took Molly from me and the fish got off. very sad. but I think Molly will be an awesome fisherwoman.

Awww! She's already getting big! I'm glad to see you guys are having fun times! I wish we could go fishing here but we'd have to get an out of state fishing license and they're wicked expensive! Catch lots of fish for me!

That's great that you had to double check to make sure you weren't in heaven. I also like that Sara and Molly stay home and have parties every day :)
